There’s nothing so precious as Jesus to me;
Let earth with its treasures be gone;
I’m rich as can be when my Savior I see;
I’m happy in Jesus alone.
Refrain:
I’m happy with Jesus alone,
I’m happy with Jesus alone;
Tho’ poor and deserted, thank God, I can say,
I’m happy in Jesus alone.

When sinful and doomed to a life of despair,
No light on my pathway to shine,
’Twas Jesus who found me and made me an heir
To mansions of glory divine. (Refrain)

When nothing but death for my ransom could pay,
And make me accepted with God,
’Twas Jesus who freely Himself made a prey
And ransomed my soul with His blood. (Refrain)

I'm Happy with Jesus Alone

  • I'm Happy With Jesus Alone #2802:50

Philippians 4
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Worship Suggestion:
The sound file is looped.
1. As the song plays the first time (During Verse 1), make remarks about finding joy each and every day. Whether the circumstances and situations are good, or whether they are challenging we should be joyful. The Bible teaches us to rejoice always and make our requests known unto the Lord. Most of all, give thanks to God for His Son, Jesus, in joy and hope.
2. As the song continues, (During Verses 2 - 3), read the scripture from the book of Philippians 4:4-13. Let the song end.
3. When the song restarts, sing Verses 1 - 3 together.
4. Prayer and Meditation.
