The day of resurrection!
Earth, tell it out abroad;
the passover of gladness,
the passover of God.
From death to life eternal,
from earth unto the sky,
our Christ hath brought us over,
with hymns of victory.

Matthew 28
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,

came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women,
Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Worship Suggestion:
The Sound File is Looped.
1. As the song plays the first time (During Verse 1), make remarks about the joy we celebrate at the fulfillment of the promises of Jesus through His death and resurrection. Each Resurrection Sunday should be a chance for new revelation, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
2. During Verses 2 - 3 of the song, read the scripture found in the book of Matthew 28:1-8. Let the song end.
4. When the song restarts, sing Verses 1-3 together.
5. Prayer and Meditation.

Our hearts be pure from evil,
that we may see aright
the Lord in rays eternal
of resurrection light;
and listening to his accents,
may hear, so calm and plain,
his own "All hail!" and, hearing,
may raise the victor strain.

Now let the heavens be joyful!
Let earth the song begin!
Let the round world keep triumph,
and all that is therein!
Let all things seen and unseen
their notes in gladness blend,
for Christ the Lord hath risen,
our joy that hath no end.
